I engineer systems across data, software, and AI.

§ 01 · BIO

I build things that sit at the intersection of data, software, and intelligence. Over the past few years I've shipped full-stack products — from real-time oil-tracking dashboards to AI companions with long-term memory — and I care as much about how a system handles failure as how it feels to use. Based in Seattle. Thinking in systems.

BittuBot v2

A polished successor to BittuBot — a streaming, memory-aware AI assistant with a refined chat UI. Groq in development, Anthropic Claude in production, running on Next.js 16 + Neon.

CrudeOptic

A geopolitical oil-tracking dashboard that visualizes imports, exports, production, reserves, and pricing for every major country. When events like Strait-of-Hormuz disruptions hit the news, the map highlights affected nations and quantifies impact.

plant-pantry

A vegan recipe assistant that takes ingredients you have on hand and suggests what to make. Built around production-grade AI guardrails — rate limiters, circuit breakers, fallbacks, and caching — to keep Claude API costs bounded and the experience snappy.

§ 03 · CRAFT

How I work.

Product engineering. I ship end-to-end — from architecture and data modelling to UI polish and deploy. Over 13 years spanning startups, global consultancies, and Amazon-scale systems.

AI systems. LLM integration, RAG pipelines, agentic AI, memory and embeddings, streaming UIs, prompt engineering, and cost-aware guardrails. I've shipped AI features to production and dealt with the billing surprises.

Data & visualization. Real-time dashboards, D3-driven maps, event-driven ETL pipelines, data warehousing at scale, and geopolitical data modeling across a dozen heterogeneous sources.

Full-stack craft. TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python, Node.js, Postgres (Supabase/Neon/Redshift), Vercel, AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, CDK, EC2, DynamoDB, S3). I write the backend, own the deploy, and sweat the mobile breakpoints.

§ 04 · TRACK

Where I've been.

Senior Data Engineer

AmazonSeattle, WADec 2023 – Present
  • Designed and built a full-stack, event-driven self-service data operations platform (React/Cloudscape frontend, Python serverless backend, Step Functions orchestration, DynamoDB config store) that reduced data operations turnaround by 99% — from 2–3 days to under 15 minutes.
  • Designed and built a serverless API gateway, Python SDK/CLI, and AWS CDK stack bridging REST clients to internal services with OAuth2 auth, multi-region routing across 3 global stacks, circuit breakers, and canary deployments — reducing cohort pipeline provisioning from 8 hours/week to seconds and enabling 12× scale (40 → 500+ cohorts).

Data Engineer

AmazonToronto, CanadaJun 2022 – Nov 2023
  • Architected and maintained the team's core analytical data platform on Amazon Redshift, serving as the foundation for all analytics and reporting for the 3P Seller business.
  • Solely designed and launched a self-managed Tableau Server on AWS (EC2, EBS, VPC, ELB, Route53, SES) with enterprise SSO, DNS, and network security integration.
  • Built scalable ETL and automation pipelines to ingest, model, and persist data from multiple upstream sources; produced standardized metrics and data models distributed via Amazon's internal data exchange platform.

Data Engineer

Infosys LimitedToronto, CanadaFeb 2020 – Apr 2022
  • Led a large-scale cloud migration for a global food and beverage company, building data models and ELT pipelines to forecast product shipment logistics and consumption metrics for the Sales Operations supply chain planning team.
